I have been drawn to art supplies all my life but, convinced for well over 20 years that I am not creative/talented/artsy enough, I only started learning to draw and paint and discovering how much I love creating as an adult.
I started my watercolour adventure with St. Petersburg paints, quickly discovering Daniel Smith and then falling down the wonderful rabbit hole of handmade watercolour paints, with which I am still obsessed today.
Around the end of 2018, I decided it was time to share my passion for handmade paints with others and the idea of Hungry for Paint started taking shape in my head. I started a YouTube channel with reviews of handmade watercolours. After having run it for nearly a year while simultaneously extensively reading, researching, experimenting and making watercolours for my own needs, I decided that it was the time to move on. I stopped doing the reviews and decided to focus solely and full-time on my own paintmaking.
